Once owned by legendary French film director Claude Lelouche, the creator of Un Homme et une Femme (1966), this longstanding Normandy hotel was reincarnated last summer as Les Manoirs de Tourgeville after being acquired by hotelier Antoine Chevanne of Hotel Byblos (Saint Tropez) fame.
At Les Manoirs, near the pretty port of Deauville, he has kept the structure but reconfigured the interiors and, with a rash-and-chic injection, he seems intent on delivering a Byblos-of-the-north.
